Things to Do at Our Mazatlán Resort

Tennis – Play a set of tennis with family and friends on our two outdoor hard courts, both of which are lighted for night play.

Turtle Sanctuary – Observe our efforts to protect and conserve the sea turtle species at our on-site sanctuary. Depending on the time of year, you can even participate in our conservation effort and turtle release programs.

On-Site Dining – Choose from a variety of restaurants and bars featuring local and international cuisine as well as premium drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a casual setting with ocean views.

Spa – Rejuvenate your mind, body and soul with a massage, facial or body treatment from the Estrella del Mar Spa and Salon. Our spa is also home to a fitness center with exercise equipment.

Events – Attend an exciting event here at our resort or in nearby Mazatlán. From the famous Carnaval to concerts, operas, marathons, professional baseball and basketball, cultural festivals and fishing tournaments, something fun and festive is always happening here.

Golf – Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., our 18-hole championship golf course features 7,015 yards of challenging play over 178 acres. In addition to the course, the golf club offers a Pro Shop, restaurant and bar and golf lessons and clinics. Coming this November 2017 is the on-site John Jacobs Golf School and Academy.

Nearby Attractions & Activities

Estrella del Mar is the perfect home base to explore numerous memorable day trips.  Visit near-by Stone Island featuring a great beach for snorkeling, biking and local flavor.  From there, you can catch the local ferry and visit Old Mazatlan, a 175-block historic district featuring restored 19th-century buildings, such as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with its gilded triple altar; and Ángela Peralta Theater.  Walk along Mazatlan’s beachfront malecón (boardwalk) which stretches 12 miles and is the largest boardwalk in the Americas. Enjoy fabulous views of the city on top of the El Faro Lighthouse.  Or catch baseball fever at a Mazatlán Venados game for some fun family entertainment.
