"Our new foundation will provide scholarships for students in Mexico who would otherwise be unable to continue or pursue further education," Butler said. "We are committed to helping our local neighbors, and education is essential to building healthy, thriving communities. We plan to create a committee that will oversee the application and selection process. Our goal is to help as many students as possible to realize their dreams – the first step is access to learning."

At Estrella del Mar, Trent Jones Jr. ensured that his course design blended into the property's specific terrain. All the elements of the landscape fuse together to produce a course that appeals to every level of golfing, from professional to beginner.

The course also pays tribute to the area's exquisite natural environment with an onsite Sea Turtle Reserve Sanctuary. The reserve, strategically situated between the sixth and seventh holes, is home to the birth and release of thousands of baby sea turtles each year. Resident players and guests can observe the progress and growth of the turtles whenever they play or walk the course.
